Mohamed Osman Mahdi

Dr Mohamed Osman Shereif Mahdi holds a Ph.D. in Management from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. He spent most of his career in teaching at the university postgraduate and undergraduate levels in different countries including United Kingdom, Oman, Qatar and Sudan.
Dr Shereif Mahdi served as head of Department at Sudan University of Science & Technology, Instructor at Qatar University, Teaching Fellow at the University of Aberdeen Business School, and Assistant Professor at Dhofar University.
Dr Mahdi presented papers at various international conferences and authored and co-authored papers in international and regional refereed journals comprising Information Technology & People, International Journal of Technology, Policy and Management, African Journal of Business Management, China-USA Business Review, Iranian Journal of Information Science and Technology, Journal of Banking and Financial Studies, Journal of Science and Technology, and World Review of Business Research.
Dr Mahdi’s research areas of interest are in the management of technology, strategies, innovation and change, organizational behavior including culture and human resources management. He received two KFUPM Internal Research Grants number IN100012 for SR64, 800 in the period from February 2010 – February 2011 and Grant number IN141049 for SR71, 400 in the period from September 2015 – September 2017.
